About the Role
We’re looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join our Core Analytics Team to help elevate Roku’s experimentation platform. As a Senior Data Scientist, you will be a key player in creating tools that empower engineers, product managers, and marketers to run and interpret their own experiments. You’ll set best practices, collaborate across teams, and help shape the future of experimentation at Roku. Data Scientist
Responsibilities

Shape and execute the roadmap to scale experimentation capabilities across Roku

Define robust statistical standards for various types of experiments and analysis units

Lead the design and analysis of complex A/B tests using Bayesian inference and causal analysis techniques

Build and optimize data pipelines to automate validation, reporting, and experiment tracking

Partner with stakeholders across Product, Engineering, and Program Management to align data initiatives with strategic goals

Promote experimentation culture and self-serve capabilities across departments
What We’re Looking For

5+ years of experience in a data science role with a Bachelor’s or Master’s in a quantitative field (Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, etc.)

Deep knowledge of A/B testing, causal inference, and advanced statistical modeling

Strong skills in SQL and at least one programming language (Python, R, SAS)

Hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Looker

Strong communication skills to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Problem-solving mindset with the ability to challenge the status quo and offer innovative solutions

Passion for working in a high-energy, collaborative, and fast-paced environment
Compensation & Benefits
📍 California Only – Salary range: $132,000–$254,000 annually
